CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — One Cross Health is taking an active role in promoting wellness across the community with two upcoming events focused on prevention, education, and connection.
In recognition of March as Colon Cancer Awareness Month, One Cross Health will host a free educational event on March 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST at its facility located at 106 Winston Way in Campbellsville.
The event is designed to raise awareness about colon cancer prevention and the importance of early detection. Attendees will have access to valuable colon cancer resources, along with an interactive inflatable colon exhibit aimed at providing a hands-on learning experience. Complimentary treats and beverages will be available, and free blood pressure checks will be offered on-site.
Healthcare professionals continue to stress that early detection plays a critical role in preventing and successfully treating colon cancer. Routine screenings remain one of the most effective tools in reducing risk, reinforcing the event’s central message that screening saves lives.
Looking ahead, One Cross Health will also host a Golf Scramble on Friday, June 5 at Campbellsville Country Club, offering a new opportunity for community members and local businesses to come together in support of health initiatives.
Participants can check in beginning at 11:00 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The event will include prizes for first and second place teams, as well as a random draw team, ensuring all participants have a chance to win.
While the golf scramble is not currently established as an annual event, organizers are hopeful it will become a recurring tradition that blends community engagement with support for accessible healthcare services.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses interested in participating and gaining visibility while supporting One Cross Health’s mission.
Both events reflect One Cross Health’s ongoing commitment to proactive care and community outreach, meeting individuals where they are and encouraging healthier lifestyles through education and engagement.
