On Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 6:46 pm, Adair County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Josh Durbin initiated a traffic stop 8 miles east of Columbia on a 2000 Honda Motorcycle.
As a result of the stop and roadside investigation, Jarred Stewart, 22, was taken into custody and lodged in the Adair Regional Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (1st degree – Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Insurance, Operating on a Suspended Operators License and No Registration.
Deputy Durbin was assisted by Chief Deputy Brandon Hitch.
