Billy Glenn Veatch, of Campbellsville, the son of the late William Val and Annie (Shipp) Veatch, was born January 16, 1954 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 in Louisville at the Baptist Health Hospital. He was 72 years of age.
He was a former employee of Parker-Kalon, Fruit of the Loom, Cox Interior and a driver for Ryder Trucks and a member of the Spurlington Methodist Church.
Billy enjoyed tinkering with anything that needed fixing and spending time with family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister: William “Woody” Veatch, David “Buck” Veatch and Janice Sallee and a brother-in-law: Richard Brockman.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Ann (Brockman) Veatch; his chosen son: Cody Woodson and significant other: Kimberlyn Bryant.
Also a brother: Carl Veatch of Greensburg.
His chosen grandchildren: Aleeah Woodson, Avah Woodson and Lukas DeSpain; a brother-in-law: Charles Brockman, Jr, a sister-in-law: Faye Veatch; special nephew:
Dewayne Veatch and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral: Monday, July 27, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
Officiating: Bro. Robert Morris
Interment: Spurlington Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation: after 11:00 A.M. Monday until time for the service.
