A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for customers along Old Greensburg Road from 15 Old Greensburg Road to 356 Old Greensburg Road as of January 22, 2026.
The advisory has been issued due to repairs being made to a water main in the area. Customers may experience a temporary water outage while repairs are underway. While there is no confirmed contamination, the advisory is being issued as a precaution to protect the health and safety of residents.
Until further notice, residents should boil all water used for human consumption. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for three minutes before use. This applies to short-term water use only.
Once repairs are completed, bacteriological testing will be conducted. When test results confirm the water is free of harmful bacteria, the Kentucky Division of Water will be notified and the Boil Water Advisory will be lifted. Customers will be informed as soon as that happens.
