Hannah Ellis presented by Green River Meats
Campbellsville native and 2024 ACM Awards Nominee Hannah Ellis returns home for a free concert Wednesday July 3rd. See one of country music’s brightest new stars on the Commonwealth Building Products/Marvin Main Stage in downtown Campbellsville. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. with opening artist Collin White.
Colton’s Kick-Off Concert
The 2024 Celebration gets Rockin’ & Rollin’ with the Colton’s Kick-off Concert presented by Colton’s Steak House & Grill! Midlife Crisis will be the featured performers Tuesday July 2nd on the Commonwealth Building Products/Marvin Main Stage in downtown Campbellsville.
Considered one of the premiere 80s rock bands in the Southeast, Midlife Crisis has been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years. Also performing is local favorite Cheyenne, well known for their variety of old/new country Southern Rock covers.
Come early and enjoy the delicious selections available from the various food vendors in the Taylor County Bank Food Court opening at 6 p.m.
K-Country Showdown
The K-Country Showdown is one of the original music competitions. For more than 35 years, the K-Country Showdown has drawn talent from across Kentucky competing for cash and other prizes. Come enjoy the great entertainment on the Commonwealth Building Products-Marvin Windows Main Stage in downtown Campbellsville Thursday July 4th starting at 1 p.m. For more information, go to KCountry1057.com.
Manchester Tank Party in the Park
Thursday night July 4th, festivities shift to the Manchester Tank “Party in Park” at Miller Park with local favorite Str8fwd performing at 6 p.m. followed by Grace Farmer & The Whiskey Shots at 8 p.m. Bring a picnic or choose from the many food vendors in the Taylor County Bank Food Court. The Celebration culminates with the Fireworks Explosion over Miller Park powered by Kroger and CampbellsvilleKy.com.
Masterworks Orchestra Concert
The MasterWorks Festival is a month-long intensive summer training program for classical performing artists being held at Campbellsville University. Take advantage of two unique opportunities to see these talented musicians – the Student Recital Saturday June 29th at 2 p.m. in the Gosser Fine Arts Center at Campbellsville University and the “God and Country” Recital Monday July 2nd in the Performing Arts Center at Taylor County High School starting at 7:30 p.m. Both are FREE.

Taylor County Bank Food Court
The Taylor County Bank Food Court is a favorite location featuring great food from numerous vendors with a giant tent with tables and chairs to enjoy your meal. The Taylor County Bank Food Court is located on South Court Street and is open Tuesday July 2nd from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday July 3rd from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday July 4th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. then on to Miller Park until 10 p.m.
Citizens Bank Arts & Crafts Fair and Downtown Booths
Vendors will be located on Main Street in four different areas based on their products and/or services. The Citizens Bank Arts & Crafts Fair will feature vendors selling only hand crafted items.
All commercial products will be sold in the Marketplace. Other special areas will be for local non-profit, school and church groups as well an area for politicial candidates. Downtown booths are open July 3rd from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and July 4th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Elk Horn Baptist Church Family Fun Zone
The Elk Horn Baptist Church Family Fun Zone offers numerous children’s games, inflatables, family activities and entertainment. And everything is FREE! Bring the whole family and stop by the Elk Horn Baptist Church Family Fun Zone at the end of East Main Street by Jackson Towers in downtown Campbellsville. It opens at 6:00 p.m. on July 3rd and reopens July 4th at 9:00 a.m.
Kentucky Farm Bureau Hospitality Tent
Back this year is the Kentucky Farm Bureau Hospitality Tent located on Main Street near the Taylor County Judicial Center. Visitors can enjoy the shade of the giant tent with tables and chairs. Plus, there’s a mechanical bull, dunking booth, and entertainment.
PARADES
Taylor Regional Hospital Parade
It’s a Fourth of July tradition! The Taylor Regional Hospital Fourth of July Parade is one of the biggest events of the Celebration. Thousands of people line the streets to see the fioats, fire engines, Shriners, patriotic entries, tractors, horses, and more. Find a spot along Main Street and enjoy the parade July 4th at 10:00 a.m. No pre-registration is required to participate in the parade.
AutoSmart Float Contest
Win up to $500 in the AutoSmart Float Contest at the Taylor Regional Hospital Fourth of July Parade! Local businesses, school, civic, and church groups are encouraged to enter your best patriotic entry. First place receives $500, Second place receives $300, and Third place receives $200. There is no entry fee and no pre-registration.
Report to the Campbellsville Elementary School at the corner of Roberts Road and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. by 8:30 am Thursday, July 4th.
Taylor County Public Library Children’s Parade presented by The Kid SpOt
The Taylor County Public Library Children’s Parade presented by The Kid SpOt Center will begin at 6:00 p.m. on July 3rd. It starts at Campbellsville High School and travels up Main Street. The parade is open to all children age 12 and under. We encourage individuals, groups or families to participate by creating a non-motorized floats. Judges will be awarding trophies in different categories. No pre-registration required. Just report to Campbellsville High School by 5:00 p.m.
HOT AIR BALLOONS/AIR SHOW
Murakami Manufacturing Hot Air Balloon Glow
A Celebration favorite returns! The Murakami Hot Air Balloon Glow is even bigger in 2024 with added events and activities. Bring the family and enjoy great food, music and more starting at 6 p.m. Saturday June 29th at Taylor County Fairgrounds. Taylor County native and entertainer DJ Bailey will perform throughout the evening. Then at 7:00 p.m. the giant hot air balloons inflate and light up the night sky. Get up close to the balloons and speak with pilots. And remember to take lots of photos.
Smoke on Aviation presented by Community Trust Bank
Look to the skies over the Taylor County Fairgrounds at 6 p.m. Saturday June 29th for a captivating ariel flyover demonstration. Watch the precision flyover and experience the thrill of formation flying.
Tom McClendon Memorial Lift-Off presented by Murakami
Come see the balloons take off and fill the skies over Campbellsville during the Tom McClendon Memorial Lift-Off presented by Murakami. Photograph, video, or just enjoy watching the crews and pilots up close as they unpack, unroll, inflate, and fly! The Lift-Off is named in honor of Tom McClendon, the chair organizer of every hot air balloon event during the 45-year history of the Fourth of July Celebration. Tom was killed in a tragic car accident in April 2022. The Lift-Off will begin Sunday, June 30th at 7:00 am at the Walking Track in Miller Park on the N. Bypass.
OTHER EVENTS
Hometown Pharmacy Stay Well 5K/10K
The Hometown Pharmacy Stay Well 5K with a 10K option run and 1K walk will be held Saturday
morning June 29th. It will begin in front of the Justice Center on Main Street at 8:00 a.m.
Registration will be available the day of the race at 7:00 a.m. Awards will be presented for first, second and third overall male and female runners.
One Cross Community Health Big Wheel Races
The One Cross Community Health Big Wheel Races are back this year! Enjoy the thrill of youngsters competing on toys from the past Thursday July 4th on South Central Avenue near the Taylor County Judicial Center. Children ages 3 to 8 will compete in 6 age groups. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the first race is at 1:30 p.m.
Kentucky Farm Bureau Pedal Tractor Pull
The exciting Kentucky Farm Bureau Peddle Tractor Pull returns Wednesday, July 3rd at 6:30 p.m. For children ages 5-9. Peddle tractors are provided. Prizes provided for each of the five weight classes. No need to pre-register.
Citizens Bank Antique Tractor & Steam Engine Show
Antique Tractors are always a big part of the Fourth of July Celebration. The annual Citizens Bank Antique Tractor & Steam Engine Show will take place on First Street near the Taylor County Courthouse Thursday afternoon July 4th. We invite anyone with an antique tractor to register and drive in the parade. Anyone wanting to display a tractor in the Antique Tractor Show should report to First Street right after the parade.
Campbellsville Christian Church Free Breakfast
You won’t want to miss this fabulous FREE BREAKFAST served by the Campbellsville Christian Church at the corner of Broadway & Lebanon Avenues. The breakfast is served from 7:00-9:00 a.m. July 4th. Come early for great food and fellowship.
Tri-County Car Club Classic Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show
Campbellsville University is the site of the annual Tri-County Car Club Classic Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show on Thursday, July 4th. More than 100 awards will be presented. The entry fee on the day of the show will be S20. Contact information is available online at www.tri-countycarclub.com.
Campbellsville Baptist Church Gospel Sing & Picnic
Join us for a great afternoon of gospel music as we welcome some of the best Gospel Groups in Central Kentucky to the stage at Campbellsville Baptist Church on Sunday, June 30th. Admission is free. CBC will also host a FREE picnic in the church beginning at 1:00 p.m.
