Cornelia Faye Hinton

Corneilia Faye Hinton was born January 31, 1941, in Gabe, Kentucky, to the late Coy Cecil and Elda McCubbin Milby. She departed this life on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Facility, having attained the age of eighty-four years, one month and twenty-nine days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She worked for TGT Kentucky in Gabe until its closing. She then worked at the Greensburg Deposit Bank until her retirement and Central Furniture until her death.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband Charles Thomas Hinton on May 22, 2002, being wed on November 22, 1963.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Sandy Hinton of Campbellsville, Kentucky; one sister and brother in law: Donna and Rhuel Bishop of Summersville, Kentucky; one grandson: Jordan Hinton of Campbellsville, Kentucky; one great granddaughter: Hadleigh Hinton of Campbellsville, Kentucky; Nieces: Brandy Bishop Milby (Jason-“Farmer”) of Gabe, Kentucky and Lindsey Bishop Gilmore (Jason) of Detroit Michigan; and great-nephews: Kobie T. Wood of Columbia, Kentucky and Brooks E Wood of Lexington, Kentucky; special friends: Elaine Childers and Betty Holt, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Corneilia Faye Hinton will be conducted 9 A.M., EASTERN TIME, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Thomas Metcalf officiating.

Visitation is requested from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M., EASTERN TIME, Monday, March 31, 2025 and after 7 AM Eastern Time Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
