Donnie Moore of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late James Frank Moore and Pearl Graybeal Moore was born January 21, 1946, and departed this life on February 15, 2025, at the age of 79 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He was 79 years of age.
He was the owner and operator of Don’s Furniture in Campbellsville.
Don was a hero to his family and many others in so many ways. Loved sharing his wisdom to others in need and putting smiles on faces by doing acts of kindness to many. He enjoyed long car rides viewing the country side, going to the horse races, watching UK basketball, family gatherings and enjoying coffee at Druthers sharing stories and having political debates with his friends. His famous quote was “Let me tell you something!”
He united in marriage to Patricia Beirer Moore who preceded him in death.
He is survived by four daughters: Gina Nunez (Ricky) of Florida, Lisa Lewis of Mt. Washington, Sheri Chandler of Louisville, and Sonja Beirer of Campbellsville. Six grandchildren: Ashley Sansovich, Brandon Finch, Jocelynne Finch, and Alexis Lewis, Dominique Allen, and Salena Ritchie, and three great-grandchildren: Cassandra, Carlo, and Elijah, and one brother: Bobby Moore.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by seven siblings; Vernon Moore, Janice Price, Bluford Moore, Delbert Moore, Dorland Moore, Carol Russell, and Juanita Hicks.
The Funeral Service for Donnie Moore will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel.

The family has requested visitation on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
