Douglas Graham Wright of Campbellsville, the son of the late Albert and Clara (Hall) Wright, was born March 16, 1936 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Monday, April 6, 2026 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 90 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was a retired after 32 years from of General Electric.
Doug enjoyed good conversations with people, going on vacations and tinkering and repairing anything that needed fixing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Darral Wright.
Survivors include his wife: Nadine (Benningfield) Wright of Campbellsville; a sister: Veva Geralds of Loretto.
Also a niece: LeAnn Detherage and husband Robbie of Loretto; a brother-in-law: Kenneth Benningfield and wife Clyde; sisters-in-law: Judy Shofner, Betty Moore and husband Tom, Betty Lou Benningfield and Sue Benningfield and a host of other relatives and many friends.
FUNERAL: Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the
L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
ENTOMBMENT: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
VISITATION: after 9:30 A.M. Thursday until time for the service.
