Fayetta Hill, daughter of the late Fletcher Cox and Bertha Wright Cox, was born on August 7, 1929, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:30 P.M., Friday, May 3, 2024, in Campbellsville. Age: 94
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Methodist Church.
Fayetta was a homemaker and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She united in marriage to Elijah Mac Hill August 19, 1948, and he preceded her in death July 5, 2016.
Fayetta is survived by two sons and two daughters: Allan Hill and wife, Rosie of Campbellsville, Jim Hill of Louisville, Katy Blancett and husband, Bruce of Louisville, and Amy Hill of Morgantown, West Virginia; nine grandchildren: Savannah Morgan, Chris Hill and wife, Kristen, Eli Hill and wife, Cheryl, Joey Hill and wife, Megan, Caleb Hill, Jason Hill and wife, Emily, Jared Hill and wife, Sarah, Mason Blancett, and Blake Blancett; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Fayetta was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Granville Cox, Orville Cox, Thomas Cox, Lilywood Harris, and Francis McCulloch.
