Hosparus Health Green River Hosts Free Senior Resource Summit For Older Adults And Family Caregivers 

Free resource event on November 8th showcasing local services and support for seniors and caregivers.

(CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY) — Hosparus Health Green River, in collaboration with its palliative care brand, Pallitus Health Partners, and co-sponsors Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLCT.J Health ColumbiaUniversity of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and EnvironmentLake Cumberland Area Development District, and the City of Columbia, will host the Senior Resource Summit on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairgrounds Street, Columbia. This free event invites seniors and family caregivers to explore resources to support aging with dignity.

“We understand that many families with aging loved ones face challenges in accessing support,” said Jennifer Van Mersbergen, Hosparus Health’s Community Outreach Manager. “The Senior Resource Summit brings local agencies and professionals together in one place, making it easier for the community to discover services available to seniors and caregivers.”

1:00 p.m.: Navigating Dementia in Palliative & Hospice Care – Supporting the Caregiver
Presented by: Stephanie Alvey, RN BSN, Hosparus Health
