Naomi Ruth Rodgers was born February 20, 1927, in Green County, KY, to the late Shreve Wilson and Pernie Elva Loy Wilson. She departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Taylor Regional Hospital, having attained the age of ninety-seven years, six months, and one day of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Separate Baptist Church. She was a member of Red Hatters Line Dance Branch. She worked at American Needlecraft, Lanham’s Hardwood Flooring and Jane Todd Crawford Hospital as a secretary and bookkeeper.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Rodgers, who preceded her in death August 10, 2016. Besides her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by one son-in-law: Vernon Bagby; one brother: James Wesley Wilson and one sister: Mildred Shuffett.
She is survived by: one daughter: Elva Jo Bagby of Greensburg; one son and daughter in law: Jerry Wayne and Anita Rodgers of Campbellsville, KY, two grandchildren: Laura Jo Rodgers and her fiancé Paul Strong and Matthew Wayne Rodgers and his wife Karen, three great grandchildren: Amara Jade Little, Savanna Rayne Little and Henry Wayne Rodgers. She is also survived by her “other daughter” Jan Ennis of Greensburg, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial: Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Green County.
