T.J. Community Mission Foundation’s Dreamcatcher Program Grants First Recipient’s Dream

Inaugural Dreamcatcher recipient enjoyed an all-inclusive trip to Dollywood.

Glasgow, KY – The T.J. Community Mission Foundation has launched the Dreamcatcher Program, designed to fulfill a dream for critically or terminally ill patients residing in the T.J. Regional Health service area. The new program provides meaningful experiences for individuals facing life-threatening illnesses by helping them live out a personal dream close to home.

The program’s inaugural Dreamcatcher recipient is Tiffany Wilson of Edmonton. Tiffany and her parents experienced a dream come true with a recent trip to Dollywood.

The all-inclusive trip featured a two-day pass to Dollywood, accommodations at Dollywood’s Dream More Resort & Spa, and tickets to Dolly Parton’s Stampede and Pirate’s Voyage Dinner Show.

All expenses associated with Tiffany’s experience were covered by the Dreamcatcher Program.

Tiffany’s mother, Darlene Cox, shared the reason behind the wish. “Tiffany started having seizures when she was 9 months old, and she’s been dealing with seizures most of her life. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to her liver. She’s been undergoing treatment, and thankfully her most recent scans show the cancer appears to be shrinking.”

Tiffany has always loved Dolly Parton—her singing and her heart—so this trip was truly her dream come true. “She loved every minute of it, from Dollywood to the Stampede dinner show. We’re so thankful to everyone at the Dreamcatcher Program for making this possible for her.”

Tiffany herself shared simply, “This has just been awesome, and I’ve had a great time!”

“The Dreamcatcher Program was a vision from the hearts of Drs. Bharat and Bharati Mody to provide opportunities like this for families right here at home,” said Randy Burns, Executive Director of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation. “I cannot imagine a more deserving young lady to be our first Dreamcatcher recipient than Tiffany. Seeing her joy in the Smoky Mountains was a blessing. We look forward to making dreams come true for more families throughout southcentral Kentucky.”
